Created by John Barbour, the eponym brand is born in 1894 in England. The label first objective is to supply quality clothes capable of resisting forces of Nature as well on ground as on sea. To be made, Barbour use at the beginning, some oil to coat jackets which will be replace later by some wax, where from famous "Wax Jacket". A jacket rather intended for the farmers, the hunters, the riders or the fishermen, it becomes traditional of the British aristocracy then later an object of fashion than the street appropriates. Contemporary brand, Barbour is ideal to obtain a wardrobe at the same time classic, elegant and modern.
